**We are raising money to fund a Long Term Stabilization Plan (LTSP) for the next 10 years in Bodie.**

Our goal is to raise $50,000 by the end of the year to help State Parks fund this undertaking.

WHAT IS A LONG-TERM STABILIZATION PLAN?

A Long-Term Stabilization Plan (LTSP) IS NOT a thrown together list of buildings that look like they need work.

It IS a gathering of all involved parties (Maintenance Workers in Bodie, Garavaglia Architecture Firm, Linchpin Engineering, California State Parks Cultural Resources staff and Bodie Foundation staff and board), and resources - all documents regarding previous stabilization work, photo documentation of work, and inspection of Bodie's buildings to shape a new MAJOR Stabilization effort for the next decade.

This is something we at the Foundation have been pushing State Parks to do for years, so we are more than excited to help fund this comprehensive project!
